Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Bath Arms was delightful. The room, named Firewitch, was cozy with a welcoming touch like a lovely note and fresh towels. The location is superb, right in the heart of Cheddar, making exploring attractions a breeze. The dining experience was good, but I wished for more fruit options at breakfast. Overall, a great value for a pleasant stay.
The hotel is a great base for exploring Somerset, located just a 5-minute walk from the main shops and access to Cheddar Gorge. The rooms are bright, spacious, and feature king-size beds, although there was a strong smell of paint during my stay. The service, especially the housekeeping, was excellent. The dining experience, including the wonderful English breakfast, was relatively simple but delicious and filling. The location is lovely and well positioned to explore Cheddar, Cheddar Gorge, and Wells. However, the strong paint smell in the rooms was a bit off-putting and the conservation area might limit some activities. Overall, a lovely stay for visiting Cheddar Gorge and Wells Cathedral.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with some great complimentary offerings. The restaurant above exceeded my expectations. However, some street noise could be heard due to the curtains not blocking out light entirely. Overall, a pleasant experience worth revisiting.
My stay at this hotel in Chedder was just amazing! The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a massive bath that was a pleasant surprise for an older building. The staff was incredibly friendly and made my stay wonderful. The breakfast had a great variety of choices, and the overall experience was fantastic. However, some noise from the street could be a bit bothersome, and the curtains didn't completely block out the light.
